Trailer - Draft 2

Here is our second draft of our trailer, there were a few changes we made even though there was no voiceover. The first change was the subtitles, the placement and size of the text didn't feel like the subtitles that would appear on Asian subbed films. So we decreased the size of the text and made it more to the middle of the bottom screen. This is the subtitles of Kung Fu Killer below.

The second was speeding up one of our scenes, which was the car scene with our actor Chantelle walking in the car. We had sped up the footage by 106.5 which made it a bit more fast, as it felt slow and would break the fast pace it was building towards. The last was adding all the inter-titles, including film title at the end.

Film Magazine - Draft 2

Here is my potential and final film magazine, I had to make a few changes to my magazine as there were a few mistakes and also I wanted to make it look more like a film magazine. So first I took off the red text boxes that were at the bottom, making look more simple and clean. I would also change the font type of the sub-headlines on the bottom of the page, to help separate form the the headline it is under.  The second was the "Peek's", I just had to remove the apostrophe. Next was the price of the magazine, it wouldn't be a film magazine without the price. I included the price above the bar code.

In order to help further establish the type of film and culture it is, I included Japanese writing in the background as design. These aren't just random words but words that are associated with the genre such as "death, blood, killer" etc.

Overall I changed the layout of where I placed the main headline and changed the type of font it was.

Here is my first draft of my film poster, here I just need to add the credits at the bottom. I have already included the social networks on the bottom right but need to be specific on how my audience is going to find out my film on the social network's.
